Our wood wick, 100% soy wax candles are hand poured in Spokane, WA and triple scented. We use real ingredients in our candles - fragrance oils infused with essential oils, 100% American-grown soy wax, and untreated cedar wood wicks.
What does "hand-poured" mean?
What do we mean when we say "hand-poured"? It means that we make candles the old-fashioned way. We take the time and care with our own two hands. Other than our wax melters that melt 20 lbs of pure soy wax at a time, everything at Anchored Notthwest is done by hand - from the wicking of your cedar wick to the pouring of your 100% soy wax candle.
Why Wood Wicks?
Wood wicks burn slower and longer than cotton wick soy candles, by up to 25%, giving you more bang for your buck. Wood wicks burn hotter for more smell power, leading to a more fragrant candle. Wood wicks have nearly zero carbon buildup and therefore no soot. Wood wicks require less trimming than a cotton wick and our wood wicks are harvested in sustatinable forests right here in the USA. And of course...the CRACKLE! In other words, wood wicks are cooler than cotton wicks.

Wonderful scents that you can actually smell!
For starters, these are the scents that I chose: Lumberjack, Cabin Fever, Fraser Fir, Apple & Maple Bourbon, and Chai a Lil Harder. They are all fantastic but my absolute favorite is Fraser Fir. It smells like sophisticated Christmas tree (not artificial AT ALL). I think the bundle is a fantastic deal and a great way to try some of their scents. I am extremely happy with how well these scents carry, especially since they are more natural/soy-based. I got one of the wax warmers also offered here and put in two cubes of Cabin Fever. You could literally smell it through my entire house so a little goes a really long way! If you want to try some of the scents without committing to a whole candle this is an amazing way to do it and I promise you won’t be disappointed
