Our wood wick, triple scented, 100% soy wax candles are hand poured in Spokane, WA. We use real ingredients in our candles - fragrance oils infused with essential oils, 100% American-grown soy wax, and untreated cedar wood wicks.
What does "hand-poured" mean?
What do we mean when we say "hand-poured"? It means that we make candles the old-fashioned way. We take the time and care with our own two hands. Everything at Anchored Northwest is done by hand - from the wicking of your cedar wick to the pouring of your 100% soy wax candle.
Why Wood Wicks?
Wood wicks burn slower and longer than cotton wick soy candles, by up to 25%, giving you more bang for your buck. Wood wicks burn hotter for more smell power, leading to a more fragrant candle. Wood wicks have nearly zero carbon buildup and therefore no soot. Wood wicks require less trimming than a cotton wick and our wood wicks are harvested in sustatinable forests right here in the USA. And of course...the CRACKLE! In other words, wood wicks are cooler than cotton wicks.

Lumberjack candle
This is my favorite scent by ANW by FAR! this is the second candle in lumberjack scent I’ve had and it will remain a constant in my home. Only bummer with this last candle, was the wooden wick must have broken half way through the candle making process and it’s laying flat in the wax now so I can’t burn the other half of my candle. That’s the only reason this rating is a 4. Regardless, I’m so grateful for ANW because of their safe ingredients, cozy scents and beautiful esthetics!

Lumberjack Candle
This candle is AMAZING. It's a little risky to order candles you've never smelled, but I promise you- ordering the Lumberjack candle will not be a disappointment. The perfect fall scent.

Sooooo Good
Out of the candles I received, this 1 is my favorite. It smells musky, like a cologne, but not cloying. It's very smooth. My husband loves it too. It was the first 1 we lit and it did not disappoint.

Amazing, wish it came as a soap
This may be the best “manly” scent ever. While it definitely smells manly it doesn’t smell like you broke a bottle of cologne. I told my husband I was going to pour the wax on him because it smelled so good... not sure how he feels about that. Seriously this needs to be made into a soap or beard oil so he can smell like it all the time.

Lumberjack Rustic Vintage
I am so in love with this candle. The smell, the rustic look, the wooden wick! It smells like a man's cologne which I love. Reminds me of my husband so that's why I got this scent! It looks so cute sitting on top of some vintage books I have on my mantle. Haven't burned it yet because I'm saving it until I go through some other old candles first but I can't wait to start burning it. Also once the candle is gone you can pop another candle in the tin. It's way too pretty to throw away! I will definitely be ordering more candles from this rustic vintage line!

Nice Warm Musk Sent
I do love a nice warm musk sent that isn’t overwhelmingly but gives a nice deep sent to my living room. I light this when I want a real fire in the fireplace but don’t have the time for one.

Lumberjack
I love this candle and I will have to keep buying it here exclusively because I have never found its equal. Big candle burner here, and while I do go for the woody-musky scents, this candle has a unique spice aspect that I've not found in other candles. Really incredible blend of scents, soy based to burn longer and cleaner, and the bonus of being from the PNW! Absolutely an incredible candle by a company with stellar customer service.
